I know the plans I have for you, says the Lord, plans for your welfare and not for harm,
to give you a future with hope.
(Jeremiah 29:11 (NRSV))
All are Welcome to join us for Sunday services. Windsor United Church of Christ offers two services each Sunday between Labor Day and Memorial Day and one service at 9:00am during the summer:
- Our traditional service (8:00am) features liturgy and music in keeping with the reformed and evangelical traditions of our Congregational forebears. The instrument (organ) and voices (adult choir) will suit the tastes of those long-familiar with Protestant worship.
- Our contemporary service (10:30am) features “Cornerstone”, our praise band. We utilize piano, drums, bass guitar, percussion and voices. The music is uplifting in its message, contemporary in its sound, and complements the readings and sermon for the week. If you’re seeking a change-of-pace from the usual church experience, or if you’re hoping to keep your teen awake through church, this one might just fill the bill!
Windsor UCC celebrates the sacrament of Communion on the first Sunday of every month. Friends, family and guests of our church are all invited to participate if you profess Jesus Christ as Lord and Savior.
Children are always welcome and encouraged to attend services. Crayons and coloring sheets are available in the narthex of the building for those who wish to use them.
The nursery is also available during both services with age-appropriate toys and play for children up to age five.
Please, come join us!
