WUCC Ukulele Choir!

It’s hard to frown when ukulele music is goin’ down! If you are looking to have fun, meet some wonderful people and learn to play music, you are just right for the Ukulele Choir.
5th graders to senior adults, beginners to experienced, all players are all welcome! No experience necessary, just a willingness to have fun and make some music! The church even has a few ukulele’s you can borrow.
Rehearsals include fellowship, playing our ukuleles, and working on ukulele techniques. The choir plays several times each year in worship. Contact David Schipper (david@windsorucc.com/608-669-0278) for more details.
Recommended Instruments
Soprano – Small; Concert – Medium; Tenor – large; with the strings, G, C, E and A (from the top to the bottom).
We recommend purchasing a Kala, Makala, Fender, Kohala, Luna, Cordoba or Martin Ukulele. Ukuleles start at $59. I bought a Luna starter package with a ukulele and a bag for $70 at Guitar Center in Middletown.
Stay away from ornamental ukuleles that you might have purchased in a tourist shop. They do not hold their tune well.
