Reopening

We’re taking steps to fully reopen all ministries and events at Windsor UCC.

Following Dane County public health orders effective today, Wednesday, June 2, masks are welcome but not required at all Windsor UCC events.

What’s Next

News and Announcements: Watch our church website and Facebook for events for all ages popping up as we gradually resume scheduling many of the events and activities we have enjoyed together over the years – and add new opportunities for our whole community to gather.

Email updates and announcements will be sent to our newsletter email group. To join or leave our newsletter email group, please contact the office (office@windsorucc.com 608-846-5731)

Livestream Worship: Our worship services will be livestreamed online each time we gather for worship. This summer, we will develop and shape this ministry to foster growth, outreach, and connection.

Sunday School: We are beginning to plan for the congregation’s return this fall on Rally Day, September 12th. An on-line sign-up for Sunday School this fall has been sent to all parents with school aged children.  Your response will help us know how much curriculum to buy, how to structure our classes into age-groups, and invite our congregation to nurture our kids in grace.

We also intend to offer opportunities for adults to develop their faith, to learn about scripture and tradition, and to deepen their understanding of how to honor God and to love neighbors.

Thank you

Many thanks to all of you who have participated in the life of Windsor UCC as we weathered a difficult year together. We are grateful for those who served in worship as ushers, greeters, hosts, technicians (sound, video, powerpoint, and a lot more) and musicians; to those who helped us navigate our way by serving on our ministry committees; and to those big-hearted, faithful members who sent in their contributions by mail and signed up to contribute online.

We are especially grateful to the members of our Medical Advisory Team–Tina Lisowe, Carrie Stoltenberg, Janalee Whitcomb, KJ Busse, and Hope Schultz–for their help in letting science and medicine be our guide.

We owe a special debt of gratitude to church Moderator and Treasurer, Terry Anderson and Dwight Mueller for their tireless leadership in a difficult time.

As we enter summer and the growing season, may God bless the generous gifts of all who contributed these past months, that  we will emerge from this pandemic stronger and more united.

Yours in Christ,
Pr. Craig
