Masks Expected

Dear Congregation,

Following the recommendation of the WI Council of Churches to prioritize the life and health of the vulnerable as our Gospel witness, the Executive Team of the Church Council and Pastor Craig have determined that masks are expected to be worn within our Church.   

We will maintain masking expectations for all persons indoors and when not distanced outdoors until COVID transmission is very low in the community.  Although vaccination protects us well against serious illness, breakthrough infections do happen, and the viral shed of the delta variant can be as high among the vaccinated as among the unvaccinated.  This means universal masking is warranted for all. 

It is our duty to help keep our congregation especially the young and the vulnerable and to help to stop this variant and move our world toward ending this pandemic rather than prolonging it.
